The short version is that this website gathers information about people via email addresses and has been referred to as "The Big Brother of Social Networking". It posts all sorts of information about you (including the value of your home and other properties, personal interests, education and a variety of other information that I would imagine is very helpful to would-be identity-thieves (and regular thieves) in narrowing down their targets).
I suggest each of you do a basic search for yourself on this website (and/or relatives and friends) and see if you wish to have this information posted. If you value your privacy, like I do, you can remove yourself from this website by clicking on the PRIVACY tab at the bottom (after you search a name) and follow the instructions. It will ask for your e-mail and send you an e-mail confirming that you would like the information removed. After you click on the follow up e-mail it sends you then the information is removed.
